Springfield adding Bird scooters downtown, on Commercial Street
Get ready to see e-scooters cruising around Springfield.
The city announced Thursday that the company Bird is officially making e-scooters available for rent in Springfield.
Bird is an electric vehicle company that started in 2017 that says it's dedicated to bringing affordable, environmentally friendly transportation solutions. Bird e-scooters and e-bikes are now available in more than 400 cities around the globe.
