We are thrilled to host a Route 66 Centennial sculpture, created by our very own C-Street resident, Hu. Multiple sculptures will be installed around Springfield and C-Street gets to enjoy one of them. Make plans for a weekend of fun, April 30 through May 2. The entire city will be celebrating not one, not two, but THREE milestones. The Route 66 Centennial celebration is the central focus, but we are also rededicating our beloved Footbridge that weekend (with lights and a drone show!) and also commemorating the US's 250th birthday.
