January is Anything but Cold and Boring on C-Street
The new year is off with a bang and the businesses on Commercial Street are staying busy with a flurry of activity (while the real flurries seem to want to stay away so far this season). This week alone has a lot of offerings.
Tonight at 6p, Wed January 14, grab a board game with Board Game Night at Dirks Tavern, 210 W. Commercial.

This Friday Jan 16 at 4p, Serendipity by Dreamy & Darling Creations will host a Vision Board Night. You do need a ticket but all supplies are included. If you are looking for a way to dream big for the year ahead, this may be the perfect gathering for you.

This Friday at 5p marks the start of our Third Friday event where shops stay open until as late as 8pm (hours vary). Come for dinner and stay awhile. Spot the newly re-erected Jefferson Footbridge while you are here. (Much more details about that Footbridge coming soon. It's not open for foot traffic yet.)

If you are looking for live music, you can stay until 7 this Friday after you stroll and shop and then head to Moon City Pub, 420 W. Commercial Street. Stevie Newman Band will be playing a live set, $5 cover.

And if you are not an evening person and prefer morning coffee over evening libations, then celebrate this Saturday morning, January 17 starting at 8am the grand opening of a new coffee spot on C-Street: Brew 21. This is a come and go event with free donuts. Come support Brew 21 Extra Chromosome Coffee on their opening day of business.
These events and more are part of the ongoing activities you can enjoy on Springfield's Historic C-Street.
