It's not the 4th of July yet but you might not know that upon taking a stroll down C-Street this week. The city of Springfield is decking us out in red, white, and blue banners along with our own similar-colored decorations. This is in preparation for the Red, White, and Bridge Bash celebration in honor of the Historic Jefferson Avenue Footbridge May 1-2. Get ready to attend a huge party featuring classic cars, food, and music, as we celebrate a trifecta of good things--America's 250th, Route 66's 100th, and the rehabilitation of the Jefferson Footbridge, set to open later this year. 

The city has been hard at work cleaning up and fixing up all that needed cleaning and fixing. Thank you City of Springfield!

Big news for the first half of April is that a new bookstore has opened. One More Page opened this week and it is adorable. Check it out!
