“The City of Springfield will host a Commercial Street Tax Increment Financing (TIF) update meeting and public input session at 5 – 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29 at the Victory Mission Administrative Building located at 1715 N. Boonville Ave.
The public is invited to attend to learn about projects in the Commercial Street TIF District. The City will report on public feedback received in previous meetings and discuss funding recommendations to be made to City Council. The City will also discuss proposed amendments to the current TIF boundaries.
A presentation by City Staff will begin at 5:15 p.m. followed by a public discussion. Those who cannot attend can learn more following the event by visiting
springfieldmo.gov/cstreet and selecting the C-Street TIF Projects webpage.
